No DOT COM
I played yesterday at the $1,000.00 buy-in at the World Series of Poker. Made it through the second break and then ran out of chips.
A little before the event was to start, an announcement was made about the wearing of anything that had ".com" on it. They had little stickers that had ".net" to put over your ".com". That is okay. I asked a floor person if I would be able to wear BankofAmerica.com or Toyota.com or google.com. He said no. I didn't understand why I couldn't since they are not gambling sites. He said no.
I go and sit at the table and what do I see on the table (in two places) WorldSeriesofPoker.com
I don't understand.
Well, my World Series is over, have a nice day and thanks for playing.

It was strange. The only time I saw Michalski in a huff all week is when he got told that he had to cover up the t-shirt that he was wearing, which was emblazoned with the design of a table maker.
Now here's what's funny --- the t-shirt was so stylistically busy a camera couldn't have picked up what it said anyway --- I stared at it from two feet away and could barely read the thing.

weird. Im guessing they had some sort of contract with sponsors saying no one else with .com could advertise. Thats my guess. Hope you had a good time at least!
Online casinos are better in the sense that you don't have to worry about service or rude people.
